Terms of service
The plain-language basis on which we quote, confirm and run a trip.
Last updated: August 2026
Quotes
- We do not publish fares. Every amount is quoted for your specific trip, in writing, before you commit.
- A quote is valid for the dates and details it was given for. Change the route, dates, headcount or vehicle and the amount may change — we will tell you the new one in writing.
- A quote is not a reservation. The vehicle is only blocked once the booking is confirmed.
Confirmation
A booking exists once you accept the written quote and, where applicable, the advance is received. You then get the driver’s name, mobile number and vehicle number before pickup.
What the amount covers
Every service page on this site lists what is included in a quote and what is charged separately. Anything charged separately is told to you before the trip or at the moment it arises — never added silently to a final bill.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate pickup details, timings, headcount and luggage. Wrong information is the most common cause of the wrong vehicle turning up.
- Be at the pickup point on time. Waiting beyond the free window is chargeable at the stated rate.
- No smoking, alcohol or anything illegal in the vehicle. Drivers may end a trip over unsafe or abusive behaviour.
- Damage to the vehicle caused by passengers is recoverable at actuals.
- Passenger numbers must stay within the vehicle’s legal seating capacity. We cannot carry more, whatever the reason.
Our responsibilities
- Provide the vehicle class you were quoted, with valid papers, permit and insurance, and a licensed driver.
- Send driver and vehicle details before pickup.
- Arrange a replacement if the assigned vehicle becomes unavailable.
- Tell you honestly and early if we cannot do your date.
Delays outside our control
Traffic, roadblocks, bandh, weather, flood, landslide, mechanical failure, accidents and government restrictions can affect any trip. We will do everything reasonable to keep you moving, but we cannot be held responsible for missed flights, trains or events caused by circumstances of that kind. On airport runs, ask us to plan a buffer and we will.
Liability
Passengers and their belongings travel under the vehicle’s insurance and the applicable Motor Vehicles rules. Please do not leave valuables in the vehicle — we will always try to return anything found, but we cannot accept responsibility for items left behind.
Third-party bookings
Hotels, trains, flights, tickets and permits arranged for you remain subject to that provider’s own terms, and their cancellation rules apply to their portion of your booking.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
Anything here you want spelled out?
Ask before you book. We would much rather answer it now than argue about it later.
